Server Assistant - Teak

Job Purpose:

A Teak Server Assistant is plays afundamental role inour Front of House team, enhancing the guest experience by assisting the team members in providing the highest quality of hospitality.

• Communicate with the host staff to update the floor chart continuously throughout the shift
• Collect menus and returns them to host stand
• Perform a perimeter sweep at beginning & end of shift
• Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
• Ensure that every area is clean and maintained, both inside and out
• Assist servers by refilling waters, beverages & providing bread service during dinner hours
• Assistin bussing and resetting tables
• Inform management immediately of dissatisfied guests
• Maintain professional, composed and calm demeanor at all times
• Complete all side-work as directed

• Full-Service Restaurant experience preferred
• Previous Server Assistant or Busser experience required
• Strong communication skills
• Abilityto communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to be organized in a changing environment

• Stands during entire shift
• Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, pours, carries, and pushes
• Lifts and carries tubs, trays, and cases weighing up to 25 lbs. up to 20 times per shift

• Must have daytime availability
