We are based in downtown St. Petersburg and are looking for a Junior Sales Associate.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated Junior Sales Executive to help drive our growth in cybersecurity compliance services. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to launch a career in B2B sales within the rapidly expanding cybersecurity industry. You’ll collaborate closely with senior sales professionals and subject matter experts to identify client needs, generate leads, and support the full sales cycle.

** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound lead follow-up, and targeted campaigns.
  • Support the senior sales team by managing the sales pipeline, scheduling discovery calls, and assisting in proposal development.
  • Conduct research on organizations in key industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, SaaS) to uncover compliance needs and pain points.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM (Hub Spot), track progress against sales goals, and report on weekly activity and metrics.
  • Assist in the creation and refinement of sales collateral, pitch decks, and client-specific content for presentations and meetings.
  • Participate in webinars, virtual events, and client calls to build knowledge of cybersecurity compliance concepts and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to align messaging, support go-to-market strategies and execute targeted campaigns and events.
  • Join client meetings, discovery sessions, and proposal presentations to gain hands-on sales experience.
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads and actively nurture relationships with prospective clients.
  • Stay up to date on our service offerings, industry developments, and the competitive landscape.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team as needed.

** DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation
  • Genuine interest in cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Hub Spot) and productivity tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Linked In, and 6sense.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

**

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (PCI, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, etc.).
  • Experience in B2B sales within SaaS, managed services, or IT consulting
  • Understanding of the cybersecurity compliance landscape and common client pain points
  • Proficiency with sales tools like Linked In Sales Navigator, Apollo, Outreach.io, or similar platforms
  • Ability to tailor messaging to different buyer personas and industries
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment with an understanding of key sales KPIs
  • Strong research skills and the ability to quickly learn technical concepts and articulate value to prospective clients
