Job Description

We are currently seeking a self‑motivated, highly organized, and enthusiastic professional with marine industry experience to provide full‑time administrative and sales support to our sales office in St. Petersburg, FL. This position is primarily Monday through Friday with a rotating schedule for Saturday coverage.

This role is best suited for someone who understands the pace, terminology, and client expectations of the yacht brokerage or marine industry and can confidently support multiple brokers in a fast‑moving sales environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers (over the phone and in person) with a professional, knowledgeable presence
  • Answer and manage the sales phone line
  • Support the overall organization and daily workflow of multiple sales brokers
  • Input and update yacht listings on industry and marketing websites
  • Conduct weekly strategy sessions with brokers
  • Assist brokers with Hub Spot (CRM), including entering new contacts, preparing reports, and communicating customer activity and prospect inquiries
  • Serve as liaison between sales and marketing teams
  • Support brokers with marketing projects and customer presentations
  • Prepare promotional email campaigns
  • Assist with boat show preparation, including ticket requests and activity tracking
  • Attend and participate in boat shows, as needed
  • Perform comparative market analysis within the yacht brokerage market
  • Distribute, store, and catalog manufacturer brochures for internal and external use
  • Assist brokers with compiling pending deal packages for closing
  • Coordinate listing photoshoots and marketing assets
Qualifications
  • Required:

    Previous experience in the marine, boating, or yacht brokerage industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience with industry systems such as Boat Wizard, Yacht Closer, and Yacht Council strongly preferred
  • Excellent computer skills and strong technical aptitude
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from multiple sources
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Background in sales and marketing preferred
