As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol Driver in Miami, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. Our armed officers in a government location monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security‑related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post where you support a public‑facing environment with professionalism and integrity.
Full Time
Pay Rate: $22.26 / Hour
Schedule:
10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday (Overnight)
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and enforce site‑specific entry procedures by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and reporting suspicious activity and policy violations.
- Maintain a visible presence while following post orders, handling routine security‑related concerns, and preparing accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
- Valid driver’s license in Florida.
- Armed guard card and/or license.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- DD214 with honorable discharge or associate degree, 60 college credits, police academy certificate, or corrections academy certificate.
- Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
- Drug screen as permitted by law.
- Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
