Job Location: Miami, FL

As a Security Officer – Part Time, Unarmed Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as residential and commercial real‑estate. In this role you will monitor and patrol premises, deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide strong customer service and clear communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.45 per hour

Job Schedule: Saturday 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM;
Sunday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and staff by following site‑specific procedures, property rules, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
• Support residential and commercial real‑estate operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing routine reports related to daily security‑related activity.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
