Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Spanish Speaking Patrol in Miami, FL

Position type:
Part Time. Pay rate: $17.68 / hour.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 04:00 PM – 08:00 PM.
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify access as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor processing and/or credential checks.
- Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with staff and the public, and following post orders for assigned duties and reporting requirements.
- Have 2+ years of security‑related experience.
- Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
