Learn more:  As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while monitoring access points, observing and reporting unusual conditions, and assisting with visitor directions and facility inquiries.
• Prepare accurate reports and documentation regarding incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and responding agencies as needed.

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a guard card.
• Minimum of 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military and/or degree in criminal justice.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
