, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Friday: 12:00 AM - 07:00 AM
How This Role Works:- Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. - Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, permits, and authorized entry in accordance with site-specific policies and applicable procedures.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
- Possess a college degree.
- Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, and/or a corrections academy certificate.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
