- Social Services Established in 1970, Boley Centers, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, veterans and youth in Pinellas County.
Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for a full-time Youth Employment Counselor (YEC) who will be responsible for assessing participants' strengths, preferences and skill sets to identify available and appropriate community-based employment opportunities. The YEC also acts as an ongoing liaison between job sources and maintains documentation and records as required or requested.
Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required. Human Services or related major preferred. Education must be from an accredited school, college or university.
- Minimum of one year of experience in human services, business, job placement, vocational counseling or rehabilitation. Relevant internships or volunteer experiences may be considered in meeting minimum experience requirements.
- Knowledge of job development and related activities.
- Valid Florida driver's license, own transportation vehicle and insurance required.
- Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.
