Software Engineer

Location: St. Petersburg, FL (Hybrid – 4 days onsite)
Salary: $105,000 – $130,000

Overview of the Role

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to join a collaborative, high-performing engineering team supporting business-critical applications. This role will contribute to both new feature development and ongoing enhancement of existing systems, working closely with product, QA, and leadership.

This is a hybrid position based in St. Petersburg, FL, offering the opportunity to work onsite with the team while maintaining flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with modern programming languages (Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/Type Script)
• Familiarity with web application development and RESTful APIs
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases;
