Position OverviewThe Distribution Clerk plays a key role in processing outgoing orders and ensuring accurate, timely shipments to customers. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented position with the opportunity to be cross-trained in multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities Mailroom / Shipping Duties- Assemble and package outgoing orders (100–200 boxes daily)
- Ensure shipments are accurate, secure, and sent on time
- Print shipping labels and coordinate pickups (UPS, USPS, courier)
- Use RF scanners, scales, and postage systems
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist with inventory cycle counts
- Unbox incoming inventory and stock shelves
- Process returns to suppliers for non-stock items
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
