What You'll Do

As the Director of Nursing, you'll provide strategic and clinical leadership for all nursing services while helping oversee the therapeutic milieu of the facility.

You'll be responsible for creating a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff and Mental Health Technicians
  • Oversee daily nursing operations and staffing
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Missouri regulations, and nursing standards
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and clinical best practices
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and performance outcomes
  • Manage staffing plans, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Partner with physicians, therapists, case managers, and executive leadership to coordinate exceptional patient care
  • Support employee engagement, education, competency validation, and professional development
  • Foster a safe, trauma-informed, therapeutic environment for residents and staff
  • Participate in leadership planning, strategic initiatives, and organizational growth
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a compassionate, confident leader who enjoys coaching others, solving complex challenges, and creating positive outcomes for both patients and staff.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passion for patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Behavioral health experience
  • Pediatric or adolescent nursing experience
  • Residential treatment or inpatient psychiatric experience
