Part-time Instrument Technician - Salalah, Oman

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Salalah, Oman on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various instruments and equipment used in the oil and gas industry.

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and equipment, and perform necessary repairs
• Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working with hazardous materials
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of work
• Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to instrument maintenance

• Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
• Strong knowledge of instrument calibration techniques and procedures
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic language proficiency is preferred)
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in outdoor environments as required

We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this part-time position. The selected candidate will also receive a free visa and ticket for travel.
