Elementary School Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to student success, a deep understanding of child development, and the ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.

• Plan and deliver dynamic and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and respected.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed to ensure mastery of learning objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continue growing as an educator.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Valid Indiana Elementary teaching license.
• Previous experience working with elementary school students.
• Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in elementary education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
• Must be well‑versed in the Science of Reading.
