Process transactions at the check lane using the Point of Sale system and handling various tender types such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, Offline SNAP EBT, WIC, loyalty offers, coupons;
Rotate merchandise according to code dating policies and check product quality to ensure freshness; review sell by dates and take appropriate action;
Greet, engage and assist customers and respond to questions regarding products;
Inform customers of grocery specials and maintain knowledge of products sold; make suggestions;
Order, label, stock and inventory merchandise; report discrepancies to store management
