SCHEDULE:
Monday–Friday, 7:30 am‑3:30 pm
Support daily habilitation and industrial operations by coordinating administrative tasks, community engagement activities, volunteer involvement, and direct support services for individuals served. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth program operations while promoting inclusion, independence, skill‑building, and community participation for persons served. Responsibilities include direct care and billable support services within the Habilitation program as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Manage employee time sheets, packing slips, and daily operational documentation accurately and efficiently
- Assist with daily work setup and operational coordination activities
- Serve as backup support to management as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, and activity partners
- Identify community resources, programs, events, and inclusive opportunities for individuals served
- Recruit, screen, onboard, and coordinate volunteers for program activities and special events
- Facilitate Consumer Council meetings to encourage feedback, participation, and program involvement
- Implement PCISP goals and provide direct support services to individuals in the Habilitation program
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals, independence, and community inclusion
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communication related to assigned duties
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing needs
- Strong relationship‑building and community engagement abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting inclusion and independence
- Basic computer, documentation, and administrative skills required
- Ability to assist and support individuals served as needed
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
- Ability to travel within the community for meetings, activities, and outreach
- Ability to safely assist individuals participating in habilitation and community activities
- Ability to perform light lifting, transporting materials, and event setup activities as needed
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required
- Training related to habilitation services and PCISP implementation
- CPR and First Aid certification (required and maintained)
- CRT (Certified Restraint Training) certification (required and maintained)
- Preventing Disease Transmission (Bloodborne Pathogens) certification
- Core A & B Medication Administration training
