Are you just recovering from being overworked in your first or second busy season as a Tax Associate in a Public Accounting Firm? This job is for you!

Our client, a Prestigious Family Office located North of Boston, seeks a Tax Associate to join their team. If you fit the job requirements below and are looking to leave crazy busy season hours of Public Accounting behind, I urge you to submit your resume.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare individual, trust, gift, and partnership tax returns
  • Assist with tax planning for the preparation of quarterly estimated tax payments
  • Assist with tax audits, notices, and tax research projects
  • Take ownership of tasks and be able to work with others to prioritize work assignments
  • Handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines
  • Produce deliverables that are clear, concise, thorough, and of professional quality
  • Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of all clients
  • Handle routine client tax questions, research tax issues, and work with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
  • Stay current on new tax legislation
  • Other tax duties and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 1-2 years of experience with individual, trust and partnership income tax returns
  • Experience with CCH Axcess or Pro System Fx is preferred
  • Financial Services or Family Office experience is a plus
  • CPA and/or MS in Taxation is a plus
Skills
  • Candidates should be prepared to meet challenging client requirements and provide value-added services
  • Possess strong communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Strong technical skills in accounting, tax preparation and research experience a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while keeping clients and members of the team informed
  • Must be comfortable working collaboratively in a small corporate office with strong organization skills and careful attention to detail
  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Adobe

Looking to pay $75,000 to $100,000
