Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year.

• Build and submit proposals, including budgeting, scheduling, and overall project approach
• Manage subcontractor invitation to bid (ITB) processes
• Perform scope takeoffs and subcontractor scoping/leveling
• Conduct project buyout and contracting after project award
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to support effective bidding
• Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing relevant information
• Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish precise cost estimates
• Fully read and interpret specifications, drawings, legends, and equipment schedules across schematic, construction, and permit document iterations
• Estimate commercial and institutional construction projects in a timely and accurate manner

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• 3-5 years of construction estimating experience preferred (willing to train the right motivated candidate)
• Self-motivated, highly organized, accurate, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communicator with strong prioritization and multitasking skills
• Capable of working both collaboratively in a team setting and independently on smaller projects with supervision
