Location:
Salem, MA (Onsite). Salary: $100,000 – $145,000 per year.

We’re looking for an Estimator who can own the pre‑construction process from early budgeting through project award. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail‑driven, and comfortable working in a deadline‑focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build and submit detailed project proposals including budgeting, scheduling, and execution approach.
- Manage subcontractor invitations to bid (ITB) and relationships.
- Perform scope takeoffs and subcontractor leveling.
- Support project buyout and contracting post‑award.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and evolving document sets (schematic, permit, construction).
- Identify and resolve cost discrepancies through data analysis.
- Source and validate pricing for materials and systems.
- Stay informed on market conditions and competitive pricing strategies.
- 3‑5 years of construction experience (open to training high‑potential candidates).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Procore, On‑Screen Takeoff (OST), and Building Connected is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and on a team.
