Estimator / Assistant Project Manager

Hours:

Monday-Friday.

We are seeking a full-time Estimator / Assistant Project Manager to join our Highway Division.

Responsibilities include maintaining automated databases of project opportunities, reading and analyzing construction plans, comprehensively estimating materials, preparing bid documents for pricing, and managing awarded projects to profitable completion.

• Knowledge of building construction, materials and methods.
• Experience estimating construction materials.
• Well organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents, including architectural and structural plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with team members, customers and vendors.
• Strong office technology skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved is desired.
