Pitman & Wardley Associates is a design-forward architecture studio specializing in high end residential and light commercial both new construction and historic renovation, adapted reuse, across urban, suburban, and coastal New England.

We’re hiring a driven, well-rounded Designer to join our team and contribute from early concept through construction. The ideal candidate is fluent in architectural thinking and is also interested in supporting interior architecture through finish coordination, millwork development, and presentation materials.

ROLES + RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with architectural design presentations for clients (concept design, massing, plans/sections, and supporting materials).
  • Draft and detail residential and select commercial drawing sets for construction.
  • Prepare permit submissions and municipal review packages.
  • Develop interior architecture elements including custom millwork, interior elevations, and finish documentation as part of the architectural set.
  • Support coordination with consultants, construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, and select OAC meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 1-3 years of professional architectural experience.
  • Bachelor of Architecture (preferred).
  • Strong AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
  • High-end residential experience preferred.
  • Interior design / interior architecture experience is a plus.
  • Collaborative mindset, strong communication, and comfort managing multiple priorities.
