Overview
The McKeown School of Education prepares the next generation of teachers who serve the communities of Massachusetts and beyond. As Director of Clinical Experiences, Licensure, and Operations, you will shape the systems and partnerships that connect teacher candidates to the classrooms where their careers begin. This is a leadership role with real breadth. You'll oversee the full lifecycle of clinical placements across all educator preparation programs, from building and sustaining relationships with partner school districts through to coordinating cooperating teachers and supporting candidates in the field.
Alongside that, you'll direct licensure advising operations to ensure every graduate meets Massachusetts DESE requirements accurately and on schedule, lead the field engagement team's day-to-day workflows and data systems, and collaborate closely with faculty, department chairs, and external partners to keep clinical experiences aligned with program outcomes and evolving state standards. If you are someone who finds genuine satisfaction in building operational infrastructure that directly enables student success, and understands the stakes of getting teacher preparation right, this role was designed for you.
