Description
Thepsychology department is searching for a Field Placement and First-Year Advising Coordinator. This position will serve as the professional advisor to all first-year undergraduate students majoring in Psychology, which includes academic advising, reviewing major/minor requirements, and referring students to appropriate campus resources as needed. This position will also serve both undergraduate and graduate program needs with respect to all field placements, internships, and practica.
The Field Placement and First-Year Advising Coordinator will work closely with Graduate Program Coordinators in Behavior Analysis, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and Counseling and Psychological Services to manage possible and existing sites, track students’ supervision hours, and verify licensure of participating supervisors. Applicants with BCBA certification are encouraged to apply; however, certification is not required for this position.
This psychology department is home to a popular undergraduate major and to master’s degree programs in behavior analysis, counseling, and industrial/organizational psychology. This position is a full-time, 12-month position with an on-site work schedule.

Required Qualifications- Master's degree in psychology or a related field
- Two to three years of relevant experience
- Experience managing relationships between organizations
- Excellent organizational skills and written communication skills
- Proficient in Learning Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Knowledge of Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) requirements
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or advising students or other individuals
- Experience in higher education
This isan onsitepositionin Salem, MA with on-campus, in-person responsibilities,which may require occasional work on evenings and weekends.
Employment is contingent upon a completed background and CORI check satisfactory to the university.
