Certification Details
- ICU RN Nights and EOW - 36 or 48hrs.
- MICU RN Nights & EOW position with floating required.
- 2 years of continuous MICU experience required.
- Must be able to read tele strips.
- Unit is a Level III Trauma Center Medical/Surgical ICU with 20 beds.
- Patient diagnoses include Substance Abuse/Overdose, severe Psychiatric conditions, DKA, Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, Renal Failure, and Cardiogenic Shock.
- Attendings and Residents are present 24 hours/day.
- RN to patient ratio is 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity; 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to Med/Surg areas.
- EMR system used is EPIC.
Job Details
- Active Massachusetts RN License required.
- 2+ years of Adult ICU experience required, preferably MICU.
- Telemetry competency required.
- Floating required, mostly to Medical/Surgical Units with up to 4 or 5 patients.
- Must be able to read tele strips.
Job Requirements
- Nights and Every Other Weekend (EOW) shifts available.
- Shift lengths of 36 or 48 hours.
- Rotating shifts required for day positions (7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a).
- Night shift does not rotate.
Schedule Information
- Level III Trauma Center ICU.
- 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU.
- Patient population includes adult patients with critical conditions such as cardiac arrest and respiratory failure.
