Certification Details
- Float Pool M/S Tele RN position requiring willingness to float to 8 different units.
- Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips.
- Two years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Care for ED border patients, medication nurse in acute mental health unit, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients.
- Clinician to patient ratio:
Days & Eves up to 5:1, Nights up to 6:1. - Bed count: 371;
Units range from 8 to 41 beds. - EMR system used: EPIC.
Job Details
- Current Massachusetts RN License required.
- Two years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Telemetry monitoring skills including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours.
- Ability to perform cardiac drips and read telemetry strips.
- TR Band experience.
Job Requirements
- Nights and every other weekend (EOW) schedule.
- 36 hours per week.
Schedule Information
- Float Pool RN position requiring floating between 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units including Davenport 5, 7, 8, 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow units.
Unit Specific Information
- Free on-site parking available.
