Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, FQHC (Outpatient)

Full-time

• Provide continuing and comprehensive health care for individuals and families across all ages and genders under the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and in collaboration with the supervising psychiatrist.
• Exercise individual initiative and independent actions to ensure high quality psychiatric and mental health care.
• Work as an integral member of the psychiatric care team in collaboration with the primary care team, with careful attention to customer service, population management, appropriate delegation and participation in the health center’s quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with other providers involved in client care, including medical providers, social agencies, hospitals, schools, etc.
• Provide psychiatric consultation, psychopharmacological evaluation and management.
• Provide client and family education.
• Intervene with care delivery system flaws by identifying issues and participating in policy‑making, implementation or modification.

• Certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner; experience in community or ambulatory care.
• Ability to treat patients Adolescent through Adult.
