Respiratory. Salem Hospital
is a 371 licensed bed facility that has 220 Med/Surg beds, MICU, ED, Labor and
Delivery, a Level 2B Nursery, etc.

Experience
Required:
2, must have vent experience in an acute acute-care setting.
3. Skill
Sets
Required:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy, ability
to draw arterial blood gases.
4.
Rotation
Required:
Day position may rotate to 11a-11p when needed. Night position is straight Nights.
5. EMR
(Charting System) EPIC.
6. Clinician to
Patient Ratio: 5 Respiratory Therapists staffed during the Day shift; 5 on Eves
and 4 on Nights. Day
Shift: 1 on Charge, 2 assigned to 20 bed ICU, and 2
assigned to Med/Surg Floors.
7. Equipment Used: PB980 Ventilator. Hamilton T1 Transport
Ventilator.
8. Certifications
Required:
CRT or RRT from the
NBRC. Active MA Respiratory Therapist License.
