CT Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures with a high level of proficiency. This position involves working under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead, adhering to established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic CT procedures ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes.
- Administer IV and oral/GI contrast as necessary.
- Document procedures and patient information using electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive demeanor in all interactions.
- ARRT certification in CT required.
- Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required.
- 1 year of CT experience preferred, but not mandatory.
- Experience with GE CT Scanners preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
This position requires working 36 hours per week, specifically on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Additional Requirements- Availability to work rotating shifts as needed.
- Ability to perform and document EMR charting efficiently.
