Practice Manager, Endocrinology, Nutrition, and Nephrology

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead the coordination of operations for three specialty service lines in the North Shore:
Endocrinology, Nutrition, and Nephrology. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about improving access, quality, and patient experience! These specialty service lines are fully integrated across our North Shore primary care locations, enabling patients to access coordinated, multidisciplinary care within the communities we serve. Our primary care sites are located in Lynn, Saugus, Swampscott, Salem, Peabody, Danvers, Beverly, and Rowley.

Success in this role will require close collaboration with the Primary Care Practice Managers who oversee operations at these sites. Building strong partnerships, aligning efforts, and fostering collaboration across the service lines will be essential.

The primary onsite locations for this Manager will be Danvers and Salem; however, frequent travel to the other sites will be required.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, North Shore Specialty Services, responsibilities for our Practice Manager include strategic planning, program development, clinical and operational quality improvement, and financial/budget reporting and monitoring.

Throughout the three service lines, there are approximately 36 staff members (both clinical and non-clinical roles) this manager will oversee.

The ideal candidate is an adaptable and dynamic people leader with proven operational experience who is proactive, autonomous, and brings a strategic, creative mindset to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

We are seeking an individual who excels at building relationships, motivating teams, and aligning individuals around shared goals while serving as an effective communicator and collaborator.

• Oversees the day-to-day administrative performance of secretarial and clinical support staff and manages staff schedules.
• Evaluates daily staffing needs and coordinates replacement of staff.
• Performs hiring, orientation, and evaluation of staff.
• Administers corrective action if appropriate.
• Assists in the career development of practice employees through ongoing coaching, counseling, and training.
• Ensures that all mandatory training is completed by staff and that HIPAA policies and procedures are adhered to by staff.
• Evaluates, develops, and implements administrative systems and procedures designed to maximize practice operations.
• Regularly evaluates and analyzes practice performance metrics to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborates with practice leaders on the preparation of the practice's annual budgets.
• Oversees the department’s payroll, including the resolution of payroll issues.
• Monitors patient billing activity to ensure compliance with revenue procedures.
