The Salem Housing Authority, an equal opportunity and Affiritive Action, Employer is accepting applications for a Temporary Full-Time Groundskeeper/Custodian. This position works 40 hours per week and pays $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Duties include custodial cleaning, grounds maintenance, trash removal, snow and ice removal, property upkeep, and assistance with general maintenance projects. Applicants must be able to perform manual labor, lift up to 75 pounds unassisted, climb ladders, and tolerate repetitive motion.
A valid Massachusetts driver’s license and the ability to work respectfully with individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds are required. Bilingual skills are preferred.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check and a physical examination that includes screening for illegal drugs, excluding marijuana.
