This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Coordinator located in Salem, MA. The Site Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of a local Boys & Girls Club site, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for youth. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating programs, supervising staff and volunteers, maintaining compliance with organizational policies, and fostering strong relationships with families and the community.
Additionally, the Site Coordinator will monitor program outcomes and ensure alignment with BGCA’s mission and values.
- Leadership and supervisory skills, including the ability to manage and support staff and volunteers
- Strong organizational and program coordination skills to effectively plan and implement activities and manage schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with youth, families, and community partners
- Experience in youth development, education, social services, or a related field
- Proficiency in monitoring program outcomes and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience working with youth in an educational or nonprofit setting is a plus
required hours:
M-F: 12-6(after hours until 6:30 for staff meetings or late pickups)
Be available on Salem Public School half days and School vacations.
