Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc.

Job Summary

Salem Hospital is the North Shore’s largest healthcare provider and one of its largest employers. We offer comprehensive care and a commitment to exceptional quality, safety and kindness. As a member of Mass General Brigham, founded by Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Mass General Hospital, we provide North Shore patients with access to some of the most talented sub-specialists in the world through clinical collaborations.

The substance use disorder (SUD) Bridge Clinic provides rapid assessment, treatment initiation, and stabilization for patients with substance use disorders, with a specific focus on equitable care that seeks to eliminate disparities in access to or retention in treatment by race, ethnicity, or language. The clinic is staffed by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, office‑based addiction treatment (OBAT) nurses, therapists, recovery coaches, and a resource specialist.

The supportive care model offers rapid access to low‑threshold evaluation and treatment for individuals identified with substance use disorders throughout the Mass General Brigham system. Patients are assessed by the team and a patient‑centered treatment plan is determined. The patient is managed by the Bridge Clinic team on a transitional basis while linkages are made to the suitable and patient‑preferred level of care within the community.

This part‑time position offers flexible scheduling of 16–40 hours per week depending on candidate interest. The clinic opens Monday‑Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is located on the Salem Hospital Main Campus at 55 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA.
