About This Role

The Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family-centered care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are committed to providing quality, cost-effective patient care.

• Pay: $39.27 - $94.69 per Hour
• Location: Salem, MA
• Facility: North Shore Medical Center, Inc.
• Schedule: Full-Time, Evening shift

• Manage and deliver quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Educate patients and family members on disease processes and treatment plans.
• Maintain competency in nursing practice and clinical skills.
• Delegate appropriate nursing activities to unlicensed personnel.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
• Participate in the hiring process and evaluate assigned personnel.
• Conduct and participate in multidisciplinary team conferences.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop plans for compliance.

• Education:
  • Nursing diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of IV and PICC experience; 3-5 years preferred
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  
  • Current RN License in Massachusetts required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS and PALS certification may be required upon hire for specific patient care units
