The Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and delivers patient and family‑centered care. The RN has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care.
QualificationsEducation:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Must perform nursing duties and demonstrate knowledge and skills enabling provision of age‑appropriate patient care. CPR, PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications may be required upon hire for specific patient care units. New area transitioners lacking certain skills will receive training.
