The Registered Nurse in the ICU at Mass General Brigham manages all aspects of the nursing process and delivers patient and family-centered care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are committed to providing quality, cost-effective patient care.

• Manage and deliver quality patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and care plans.
• Maintain compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Delegate nursing activities to unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Supervise unlicensed assistive personnel and support staff.
• Maintain competency in nursing practice and clinical skills.
• Participate in the hiring and evaluation of assigned personnel.

• Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred for certain specialties

• Current RN License in Massachusetts required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required for ICU
