Certification Details
- Operating Room RN position with day, evening, and weekend rotations.
- Level III Trauma OR in a complex community setting.
- Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Experience required: 2 years working in one location and 2 years as a traveler.
- Skill sets required include basic aseptic technique, independent circulating, multispecialty competence, and experience with Mako and Davinci systems.
- Clinician to patient ratio is 1:1.
- EMR system used is EPIC.
- Floating is not required.
- Rotating shifts required with specific weekend and evening rotations.
- On call is required with holiday and weekday calls as well as weekend calls.
- Bed count is 15 with a census of approximately 30-40 patients per day.
Job Details
- Massachusetts RN License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.
- BSN preferred.
- Scrub experience preferred.
- Must have 2 years of experience in specialty and as a traveler.
Job Requirements
- Shift options include 4x10's, 2x10's, or 2x8's.
- Mostly evening shifts from 9:00am to 7:30pm, 10:00am to 8:30pm, 2:00pm to 12:30am, and 8:00am to 6:30pm.
- 1-2 weekend rotations per 4-week schedule.
- 1-2 evening rotations per 4-week schedule.
- On call required: 1 holiday call, 2-3 weekday calls, and 1-2 weekend calls per 4-week schedule.

- BSN and CNOR certification are preferred but not required.
