Registered Nurse - Psych

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse – Psych to provide high-quality care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs. This role involves assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patients in achieving optimal mental health outcomes.

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and crisis management support.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, coping strategies, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric nursing practices and mental health conditions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high‑stress situations and with diverse patient populations.

• Prior experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Training in crisis intervention or trauma‑informed care.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (PMHN-BC) preferred.
