Registered Nurse; RN Observation Unit

The Registered Nurse in the Observation Unit manages all aspects of the nursing process and delivers patient and family-centered care. This role is ideal for those who are committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective patient care.

• Pay: $39.27 - $94.69/Hourly
• Location: Salem, MA
• Facility: North Shore Medical Center, Inc.
• Schedule: Full-Time, Rotating

• Manage and deliver quality patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and treatment plans.
• Maintain competency in nursing practice and clinical skills.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Delegate nursing activities to unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences and educational offerings.
• Supervise unlicensed assistive personnel and support staff.

• Preferred:
  Nursing Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

• Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in Emergency Department or critical care

• Current RN License in Massachusetts required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications may be required for specific units
