Based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
12‑hour night shifts (e.g., 7a‑7p, 11a‑11p, 7p‑7a). Must work nights and every other weekend (EOW). Includes one night of call. No day‑rotate shifts. Minimum 36 hours per week.
ResponsibilitiesThe RN will provide specialized neonatal care in a Level 2B Special Care Nursery, performing patient assessments, care of newborns with moderate to moderately complex illnesses, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Duties include patient-to‑clinician care as per unit protocols during night and EOW shifts.
Qualifications- Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (must bring license on first day).
- 2+ years of NICU experience.
- 3 years working in a single location.
- At least 2 years as a travel RN in similar roles.
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Experience in a Level 2B Special Care Nursery / Newborn Care preferred.
- Knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record system preferred.
- Patient‑to‑clinician ratio: 1:2–3 evaluations; active labor patients 1:1.
- Patient population: mothers, babies, laboring individuals; average census 15–25 per day.
