American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring an active MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience.
Details- 65-bed, pod-based Emergency Department with a separate pediatric pod and dedicated Acute Mental Health area
- Adult and pediatric patient population, approximately 230 visits per day
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift position: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Rotating shifts may be requested (7a–7p, 11a–11p, and 7p–7a); rotation frequency is low
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Floating may be required
- EMR:
Epic ASAP - 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- TNCC and NRP certifications strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- General ED skills required including assessment, documentation, IV placement, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- All certifications must be AHA-issued only
- Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced rate
- Free on-site parking is available at this location
- Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
