American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 32-bed Ortho/Neuro unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience and the ability to interpret telemetry strips.

• Works on Phippen 6/7, a 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg unit that also admits medical overflow patients
• Patient population includes scheduled elective orthopedic and neuro/surgical patients, fractures, and general medical overflow
• Night shift hours are 19:00–07:30; night positions do not rotate shifts
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• 36 hours per week
• Night shift patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6
• Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested
• Charting is done in Epic

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a single position and 2 years of travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required — AHA only
• ACLS preferred — AHA only
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Med/Surg RN background with neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency
• 2 professional references required

• Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• Certifications must be from AHA only
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced pay rate
• No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public parking is available at daily rates ranging from $17–$22, and public transportation is encouraged
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
