This position places you at the heart of a dynamic, 65-bed, pod-based Emergency Department renowned for its comprehensive approach and specialized areas, including a dedicated pediatric pod and acute mental health zone. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with skilled healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds, expanding your proficiency with various workplace practices and leadership styles. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll refine critical emergency skills and bolster your resume with experiences that will serve you throughout your career.
Schedule/Hours
- Nights, Every Other Weekend
- 36 hours per week
Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in emergency nursing
- Proficient in general ED nursing competencies: assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education
- Certifications:
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; NRP & TNCC strongly preferred - Experience with all patient populations
- Familiarity with EPIC ASAP (EMR system)
- Willingness to float as needed and adapt to low-frequency rotating shifts if required
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent, compassionate care in a high-volume ED (230 visits/day)
- Maintain a 1:4 clinician-to-patient ratio
- Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to provide effective, timely interventions
- Prioritize safety and quality in every aspect of care, serving all patient populations

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
