Adult Psychiatric Registered Nurse

This position is for an Adult Psychiatric Registered Nurse on a 30-bed unit. We treat adults aged 18-65 with a diverse range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. The unit also handles dual diagnosis patients who detox while receiving mental health treatment. Some medically acute patients may require interventions like IV therapy, CPAP, wound care, and diabetic care.

The clinician-to-patient ratio is 1 RN to 7 or 8 patients. Experience with EPIC for electronic medical records is required. Floating between units is required. Rotating shifts are required for day positions, but not for night positions.
