American Traveler is hiring an ED RN for a night shift, every-other-weekend position requiring 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience and an active MA RN license.

• Work in a 65-bed, pod-based Emergency Department with a separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area
• Care for an all-ages patient population with an average census of 230 visits/day
• Clinician to patient ratio of 1:4
• 13-week assignment at 36 hours/week on night shift (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) with every-other-weekend requirement
• Floating required
• Occasional Day Rotate shifts (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a) may be requested at a low frequency; night position itself does not rotate
• Uses EPIC EMR (ASAP module) for charting

• Active MA RN license required; conditional/pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC and NRP certifications strongly preferred
• Proficient in general ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care across a diverse adult, pediatric, and behavioral health patient population
