American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a night shift, every-other-weekend assignment requiring 2+ years of ED nursing experience and an active MA RN license.

• Work in a 65-bed, pod-based Emergency Department with a separate pediatric pod and a separate Acute Mental Health area
• All patient population served with a daily census of approximately 230 visits
• Clinician to patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule of 19:00-07:30 for 36 hours per week, including every other weekend
• Floating required
• Rotating shifts required on a low-frequency basis for Day Rotate positions (7a-7p, 11a-11p, and 7p-7a) when requested, though this specific Night position does not rotate
• Uses EPIC (ASAP module) as the charting system

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC and NRP certifications strongly preferred
• General ED nursing skills required, including assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Free on-site parking available
• Local candidates accepted, though those residing within 60 miles of the facility will receive a rate 5% lower than the standard rate
