Float Pool Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Salem, MA

Contract | Nights | Every Other Weekend | 36 or 48 hours per week

• Float between up to 8 different Medical/Surgical Telemetry units throughout the hospital as assigned
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, including measuring intervals and interpreting telemetry strips every 4 hours
• Administer and manage cardiac drips in accordance with unit protocols
• Provide care for ED border patients, serve as medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Perform TR Band management and other telemetry-related clinical skills as required

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital experience in a single facility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a travel nurse
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, including strip interpretation and cardiac drip management
• Willingness and ability to float to up to 8 different units per assignment

• 2 or more years of dedicated telemetry nursing experience
• TR Band experience
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system

• Complimentary on-site parking available for all staff
