Job TitleICU Registered Nurse (MICU) – Nights

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU at a Level III Trauma Center, managing a diverse adult patient population including diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, GI bleed, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and substance abuse/overdose
- Maintain an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for high-acuity ICU patients
- Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed, managing up to 4–5 patients with telemetry competency
- Accurately read and interpret telemetry strips
- Document patient care and clinical assessments using the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Collaborate with attending physicians and residents who are present in the ICU 24 hours per day
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of continuous adult MICU experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Willingness and ability to float to Medical/Surgical units as required
- Experience in a community hospital or complex care facility setting
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Experience managing high-acuity diagnoses including cardiogenic shock, respiratory failure, and cardiac arrest
- Work in a dynamic Level III Trauma Center ICU with attending physicians and residents available around the clock, offering strong clinical support
