Job TitleOR / PACU Registered Nurse – Days/Eves with Weekend Rotation (36 or 40 hrs.)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Onsite | Days/Eves with Weekend Rotation | 36 or 40 hours per week | Shift options include 4x10s, 2x10s, or 2x8s with typical hours ranging from 8:00am–6:30pm, 9:00am–7:30pm, 10:00am–8:30pm, and 2:00pm–12:30am | 1–2 evening rotations and 1–2 weekend rotations per 4-week schedule | On-call required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a Level III Trauma Operating Room serving a complex community setting
- Circulate independently across multiple surgical specialties, maintaining a 1:1 clinician-to-patient ratio
- Care for a diverse patient population including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, with a daily census of approximately 30–40 patients
- Perform and maintain basic aseptic technique throughout all surgical procedures
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Fulfill on-call obligations including 2–3 weekday calls, 1–2 weekend calls, and 1 holiday call per 4-week schedule
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience in a single facility
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a travel nurse
- Demonstrated competence in circulating independently and multispecialty surgical settings
- Proficiency with aseptic technique and surgical protocols
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and CNOR certification preferred
- Scrub experience preferred
- Experience with Mako robotic and da Vinci surgical systems
