American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery/Postpartum RN for a rotating day shift position requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and an active MA RN license.

• Work in a 25-bed Labor & Delivery unit encompassing L&D, PP, NBN, 2 ORs, 2 RRs, and 2 ANU rooms
• Unit includes 5 LD rooms, 12 PP beds, 2 ORs, 2 RRs, and 2 ANU rooms with 4 beds
• Average daily census of 15-25 mothers, babies, and laboring patients
• Patient ratios: L&D 1:2-3 for evaluations, 1:1 for active labor, magnesium drip, or epidural patients
• Patient ratio: PP 1:3-4
• Primarily a day position with rotation to evenings and nights as needed
• Shifts rotate between 7:00am-7:30pm, 11:00am-11:30pm, and 7:00pm-7:30am
• Requires one night of call and every other weekend
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (no conditional licenses accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Skill sets required:
  Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulate, and Newborn Care
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current NRP certification
• Current EFM certification, renewed every 2 years (NCC, K2, or AWHONN accepted)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA only)
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery settings
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility
