Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an experienced M/S Telemetry RN for a 36-hour rotating shift position requiring strong cardiac telemetry skills and an active MA RN license.

• Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional licenses accepted
• AHA BLS certification required
• 2+ years of experience with a strong cardiac background required
• 2 years of experience working as a traveler required
• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit setting
• Post cath care including PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation procedures
• TR Band and femoral approach experience utilized
• RN to patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
• 36-hour work week with rotating days, evenings, and nights, plus every other weekend
• Uses Epic for charting
• Care for medical cardiology patients requiring telemetry monitoring and post-cath recovery
• Responsible for interpreting telemetry strips and administering cardiac drips
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
